Maz Jenkins
​Clinical Psychologist

​Maz (she/her) is a clinical psychologist who lives and works on Awabakal land. She is passionate about working alongside people as they overcome challenges and advocate for their wellbeing. She has worked in public multidisciplinary teams for nine years, with adults and young people experiencing difficulties with chronic pain, substance use, mood disorders, trauma and anxiety. She has a special interest in working with adults and young people presenting with chronic pain and substance use concerns, with a focus on developing greater awareness of the connection between the mind and the body. 

She is a collaborative, reflective and warm therapist whose work is informed by a number of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Enhanced CBT and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy. She will be commencing three years of core training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) in 2026. She is committed to inclusive, safe practice that prioritises people finding meaning in their life and feeling more connected to their communities and themselves.

Maz holds full registration with clinical endorsement from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a Board Approved Supervisor.

Dr Gali Lawrence
​​Clinical Psychologist

Gali is a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience. She has a strong interest in chronic pain, medically unexplained symptoms and functional neurological disorder; as well as psychological trauma, stress, substance use, adjustment issues, anxiety and depression. 
 
As well as being trained in mindfulness-based approaches, she utilises emotion focused therapies including Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) and Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).  ISTDP is a psychodynamic therapy that aims to get to the root cause of difficulties. The therapy is evidence-based, emotion-focused, and experiential.
