Information if you are requesting Telehealth:
We understand times remain uncertain and we all adjusting to the ongoing changes, including the way we deliver mental health services. Please know that everyone at Psychology One is working towards providing effective, accessible and high quality services to you. For our telehealth options we provide therapy via video conferencing or telephone. Our experience so far is that using a PC can be more effective than a smart phone, however smaller devices can work well if that’s more convenient for you. If technology isn't your thing, or your internet isn't working well, we have the option of telephone too. If you choose the telehealth option of video conference you will sent a link to click prior to your session time. There is no need to download any App or program to your device. We would like to assure you that the video conferencing platforms we are using are end-to-end encrypted and secure. For those opting for telehealth appointments, the billing arrangements remain the same. For clients referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, Medicare rebates are still available for telehealth sessions. There are also telehealth options for EAP, NDIS, DVA and Victims of Crime clients. Please call the office to discuss your options if unsure (49522558). You could also use the enquiry form from our contact us page which will send an email to our team. We thank you for your understanding during these changing times. |
