Workers Compensation

Psychological treatment under Workers Compensation involves a collaborative approach between your Clinician (Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker) and the relevant parties relating to your claim (eg. your Insurer, your Nominated Treating Doctor, your Rehabilitation Provider) with the aim of assisting you in addressing and overcoming any obstacles to your progress.

Referral to Treatment

You can be referred for treatment under Workers Compensation by either your Rehabilitation Provider, your Insurer, your Nominated Treating Doctor or your Employer however overall approval must be obtained from your Insurer Claims Manager prior to proceeding with any services. This involves Psychology One liaising with your Insurer to seek approval for an initial assessment. Conditions apply and pre-approval for sessions is required.

Number of Sessions

The number of sessions is determined on a case-by-case basis.
