Movement and Your Mental Health
Facilitated by Dr Kathy Dynon and Annette Murray. This fun and friendly four-week group program will offer a range of psychological skills and promote the benefits of movement (exercise) to assist with the management of anxiety and depressive symptoms.
Exploring through ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and other cognitive behaviour therapies:
- the barriers to movement
- choosing movement that meets your lifestyle so that it is sustainable
- why movement is important to you
Participant involvement is guided by you, all we ask is that we show respect for each other.
Comfortable clothing is recommended.
